Former Nortel Wireless CTO John Hoadley Joins Taqua

RICHARDSON, Texas -- Taqua®, LLC, a leading supplier of next-generation wireless and wireline switching systems and applications, today announced that John Hoadley has joined Taqua as Wireless Chief Technology Officer.

John Hoadley will provide a vast amount of experience, leadership and vision to Taqua’s expanding wireless solution offerings that include the Taqua 7000 switching system and other new innovative wireless technologies. “Obviously John Hoadley has a wealth of wireless expertise and we are very pleased to have him join our wireless effort,” explained Eric Pratt, chief executive officer of Taqua, LLC. “Over the last two years, Taqua has seen solid wireless market progress through incorporating the wireless media gateway and media gateway control functions into the Taqua 7000 switching system. We are looking for John to both help with our existing wireless solutions and platforms and explore new wireless products and strategic initiatives that will leverage the Taqua organization, products, and channel agreements.”

John Hoadley has been in the wireless industry for over 20 years and worked at Nortel in a series of executive business, technology and sales roles. As Nortel’s Wireless CTO, John provided vision and managed advanced wireless research that led to Nortel's 4G (WiMAX and LTE) product developments. John graduated from the University of British Columbia with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and received an MBA from the University of Western Ontario.
