The All-IP distributed architecture provides an operator with substantial backhaul and operational cost savings. Traffic can be kept local in the remote areas without the need to backhaul to a central location. The resulting backhaul and bandwidth savings could be as high as 80%, in addition to the flexibility available from distributing network elements anywhere the IP Core reaches.
