T71000 MULTIMEDIA CONTROLLER
The T7100 Multimedia Controller (T7100) provides industry leading performance and security capabilities on the latest carrier-grade server-based platform with a sophisticated and integrated packet processing engine for media management, and secure access and trunking for enterprise and carrier interconnect and peering. The T7100 provides high volume call control and advanced routing capabilities, including interfacing SIP based Least Cost Routing Engines for the Class 4 IP market. The T7100 offers functionality and features, advance transcoding of voice, security, IPv4/IPv6 interworking, session and call admission control, session routing, overload protection, and enhanced routing and load balancing. It supports voice, fax and multimedia sessions in concert with the Taqua T7000.

The T7100 employs Linux Servers with high availability and carrier grade architecture that ensures all sessions survive in the case of a single point of failure. It also supports a geo-redundancy architecture that enables carriers to provide uninterrupted services in the case of a natural disaster or site failure.
