W-SERIES NLOS BACKHAUL
The Taqua® W-Series of Non Line of Sight (NLOS) Backhaul Systems consist of small cell site backhaul products that utilize underused, inexpensive TDD spectrum.  Each deployment cluster consists of up to six small cell sites that are connected to the Taqua Remote Backhaul Module (RBM) via a standard Ethernet connection. Each of the Taqua RBMs utilizes the TDD spectrum to backhaul wireless data traffic to a Taqua Hub Backhaul Module (HBM). Taqua's HBM connects via Ethernet to the carrier’s existing backhaul network and can be located at a macro site or anywhere wired internet connectivity is available.

Hundreds of clusters can be deployed as a “network”, and managed by a single user interface system. Each RBM will enable 84 Mbps throughput, with a migration path to increased bandwidth up to hundreds of Mbps.

  • Technology OFDM / MIMO, up to 256 QAM
  • Throughput up to 336 Mbps with a 4 sector deployment
  • Bandwidth 5, 7, or 10 MHz
  • Bands: multiple bands 2 to 4 GHz
  • Configuration 2 to 6 RBMs per sector/ hub
  • Connectivity Gig E / Fast Ethernet
  • Multiple form factors
