Utilizing Taqua MobileWorks, service providers can now offer ubiquitous services to wireline legacy, broadband and wireless (2G, 3G or 4G) subscribers. Taqua MobileWorks extends the existing nextgen T7000 Class 4/5 switch capability to include functions normally provided by a Wireless Media Gateway. Deployed with the Mobile applications Center, Taqua MobileWorks takes on the functions including all wireless media gateway, call control, session management, service adaptation and protocol interworking, and multi-domain resource management for mobility and features. The small and rural mobile carrier can save money and deliver advanced TDM, Mobile and VoIP services on the same platform.
